Greetings !

In the previous day i just watched the rails screencast,ย  Chapter 2 of Learn Rails by example but i didnt work out

Today i simulateously watched and practised each and every step

I didnt find any problem while working with it

I felt it as a good learning experience when practising it ๐Ÿ™‚

I hosted and commited my changes using git, https://github.com/rajee/d_app

Also deployed the application using Heroku

Heroku generated the following urls for my application




By 4 p.m we had a SCRUM Meet and i told as i worked with the lesson 2

Then i started to learn PHP from here

To run a PHP script on Fedora 14, i just created a simple program ( welcome.php ) and saved in /var/www/

When i point the browser to http://localhost/welcome.php, it resulted in the following error

Not Found
The requested URL /in.php was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.17 (Fedora) Server at localhost Port 80

Then i searched to resolve the error

I found that Apache’s default document root isย  /var/www/html on Fedora, http://ow.ly/3NlPo

Moved the script to /var/www/html

And now iam able to run php scripts ๐Ÿ™‚
