Im very happy to see my KanchiLUG(Linux Users Group of Kanchipuram) friends priya and praveen.
They came from Kanchipuram to give a talk on ‘Making of FOSS Calender 2010’.
Praveen explained about the difference between GIMP and Inkscape, How Inkscape used in designing the calendar, the size variations, how to add a text to the calendar etc.
That was a nice presentation by Praveen.
As a member of KanchiLUG im proud of our works.
Also, a special credit goes to my dear friend Shrini who gave an idea to make a FOSS calendar.
Im awaiting to get a printed copy of this calendar.
U can see the ‘FOSS Calendar 2010’ here http://picasaweb.google.com/kanchilug/GnuLinuxCalender2010#

I turned my watch clock to see the time. Oh, it’s 6 p.m.
